Mrs. Marianne Comparet

Mrs. Marianne Comparet (ISNTD) is head of the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to a multidisciplinary rethink of the current approaches to NTDs.

Her academic background is in Development Economics, pursued to postgraduate level at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies, and as a NCCR Research Fellow for the World Trade Institute, Bern. She worked in the emerging markets division of Citibank and at JP Morgan before joining The Economist Newspaper as an Economist/Statistician. She has lived in Jakarta, Paris and London.
